Once you arrive to the international Lima’s airport, look for your Auri Travel representative holding a sign with your name on it! You may be a bit tired after your long flight, so we’ll save you the stress of trying to navigate and bring you straight to your hotel where you can shake off that icky flight feeling with a shower and a sleep. Enjoy a peaceful night’s rest.
Exploring Lima “The City of the Kings” (B)
Explore the Limeñan iconic sites, home of the superfoods, museums, and the most historic Peruvian places.
Free morning to spend the time at your own leisure. This afternoon, your expert guide will pick you up from your hotel to start a sightseeing tour around colonial and modern Lima. The first stop will be Huaca Pucllana which was an administrative and ceremonial Pre-Incan building. During this tour, you will visit the Cathedral of Lima, the catacombs of the Monastery of San Francisco, the main square, the National Congress, and the Palace of Torre Tagle.
Finally, we will go to the more modern districts of San Isidro and Miraflores where you can enjoy unbeatable views of the Pacific Ocean.
After a 4-hour tour, you will be dropped to Kennedy Park in Miraflores where you might like to enjoy a delicious dinner in some of the world-renowned restaurants, we can make a reservation in advance for you, just let us know!
Flight to Cusco & Transfer to the Sacred Valley (B, L)
Start your adventure at the gorgeous and serene landscapes that the Sacred Valley offers.
This morning, pick up from your hotel to escort you to the airport to take your flight to Cusco. Once you arrive at the Andean Cusco Airport, your private guide will pick you up to start your adventure in the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be Awanacancha “Living Museum”, where you will learn about the weaving process and you will come face-to-face with the lovely South American camelids, including alpacas, guanacos, vicuñas… you can feed them too!
Your journey will take you to Pisaq traditional market, which is famous for its beautiful handicrafts that delight thousands of visitors every year. Textiles, vegetables, and silver jewelry are just some of the items that are sold here.
Then, delight yourself with a savory lunch featuring the most delicious Peruvian dishes.
Our next stop will be Pisaq ruins, we will explore some Incan archaeological sites, including ornate palaces and temples, and magnificent agricultural terraces on the mountains. This was one of the major agricultural centers of the Incan Empire and is one of the most beautiful towns of the Sacred Valley. From this point, you will see the modern-day Quechua people continue to farm and the verdant farmland where the Incas once cultivated their crops.
At the end of the tour, your guide will leave you in your hotel located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas to spend a peaceful night rest.

Hike to Ollantaytambo Archeological Site (B, L)

This day, hike through the Sacred Valley of the Inca, your private guide will lead you to the breathtaking Patacancha Valley. At the ruins of Pumamarca we’ll begin our hike down a pre-Columbian trail, during the hike you will see some irrigation canals that are still used by local villagers today.
Along with your expert guide, you will enjoy two hours of easy hiking, then, we’ll find ourselves in the Incan town of Ollantaytambo, where the centuries-old influence of the Incas is still very much visible: water from the mountains trickles down to the Inca-built street canals, also, you will find the impressive trapezoidal doors and Inca walls.
Ascend beyond the stepped, slope-side terraces to the ruins of a centuries-old fortress above town, where the Incas secured an important victory over the Spanish conquistadors. Discover the mysterious hewn stone constructions, then your private guide will show you the quarries where the Incas sourced these huge stone blocks. From this point, you will enjoy the most beautiful views of the valley and the Urubamba River that meanders through it.
Then, enjoy a savory lunch, delight yourself with the delicious local flavors. Upon completion of this journey, we will bring you back to your hotel for an evening spent at leisure.

Prepare for a climatic day! This morning after a savory breakfast at your hotel, you will be transferred to the train station to board the scenic train to Aguas Calientes. Enjoy 1 ½ hour through the lovely lush vegetation along the way. At your arrival, we will assist you to take your bus up to Machu Picchu. Perched at 7,970 feet above sea level and 1,240 feet above the Urubamba river in the Sacred Valley, discover this hidden area that was covered by mountains and semi-tropical jungles for almost 400 years.
Immerse yourself in-depth 2-hour tour, your private guide will show you the mysteries and magic of Machu Picchu by visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows and some other cemeteries. Afterward you will have plenty of free time to take pictures, explore, and enjoy the panoramic view from the plateau of the iconic Ancient Citadel.
Make your way to Aguas Calientes by bus and enjoy a peaceful night rest with the sound of the cloud forest around you.
Explore Machu Picchu at your own peace & Transfer to Cusco (B)
Machu Picchu will take your breath away with its enigmatic and historical atmosphere.
Today, explore at your own peace the majestic Machu Picchu Wonder. Watch the mist rise off the mountains and the sunrise illuminate the Ancient Citadel. Truly, this amazing spectacle it is worth it.
Feeling adventurous? If so, we recommend you to hike to the Inti Punku (the Sun Gate Hike) or the Inca Bridge Hike (both 40 minutes). Alternatively, you can climb the spectacular Wayna Picchu Mountain which takes almost 2 hours (you need to book a permit in advance for this).
After finishing your visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World, make your way back to Aguas Calientes by bus. Then, board the return train to Ollantaytambo. We will be waiting for you at the train station and bring you to your hotel in Cusco for a well-deserved good night’s rest.
*** This day you will have the chance to climb up the Huayna Picchu Mountain. Delight yourself with the most beautiful views of the Ancient Citadel. Please, consider that it is necessary to book entrance tickets in advance, due that we are subject to availability.

Enjoy the breathtaking views at the Sacred Valley!
This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast your hotel. Then, your private guide and private transportation will pick you up to start your private tour.
You’ll be taken to see the impressive agricultural site of Moray. It is believed that this place was used as a kind of Incan laboratory to acclimatize crops. Then, we will drive to Maras ‘village – known for its beautiful colonial doorways – before arriving at the town’s still-in-use salt pans. During this visit you will find around 2000 small salt pans that are still used by local people for domestic purposes, then enjoy a savory lunch enjoying the beautiful Andean environment.
Post lunch you’ll have a chance to meet local villagers and visit to an off-the-beaten-track highland village on the shore of the icy blue Lake Piuray. Here, women are weavers’ masters and at this time their main activity is the agriculture. Once you get there, you will interact with the residents, visit their houses and fields, and you will also learn about their day-to-day life is like within the Andean highlands. You may also meet the lovely children; they love sharing their drawings with visitors.
Finally, transfer to your hotel in Cusco for a well-deserved good night’s rest.

Walk along the beautiful streets and emblematic squares. Or find yourself in colorful local markets filled with the sounds of bartering.
During your stay in Cusco, you will find many museums, so chose a few that best match your interests.
If you want to explore the iconic Cusco’s attractions, spend some time at the Plaza de Armas or Plaza Regocijos and try the Choco Museum, which will show you the history of cacao. This museum offers cultural and interesting classes about the chocolate process, it is ideal to spend time as a family, especially if you have young kids.
If you want to know a bit more about local culture, San Pedro Market is an unmissable stop, it has managed to maintain its authenticity. Every day, local people make their shopping and locals eating at food stands.

This afternoon, your expert guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour. Discover mysterious alleyways, emblematic squares, and coveted treasures of Cusco with your private guide. The first visit will be Sacsayhuaman fortress. The next stop will be the temple of Q’enko and the red fortress of Puca Pucara. The last visit will be Tambomachay before coming back to the city to visit the famous Plaza de Armas and Qoricancha (Temple of the Sun).
