What is Aguas Calientes? Where is it? How to get to Aguas Calientes?
Machu Picchu town is known as Aguas Calientes which is located in the jungle eyebrow or rainforest at an altitude of 2050 meters above sea level. It is the town located at the base of the mountains surrounding Machu Picchu. Aguas Calientes is a purely tourist town, with great commercial activity, a large hotel plant and a great diversity of restaurants.
