International flight arrival to Lima & Transfer to your hotel
Once you arrive to the international Lima’s airport, look for your Auri Travel representative holding a sign with your name on it! You may be a bit tired after your long flight, so we’ll save you the stress of trying to navigate and bring you straight to your hotel where you can shake off that icky flight feeling with a shower and a sleep. Enjoy a peaceful night’s rest.
Fly from Lima to Iquitos and Luxury Amazon River Cruise (B, BL, D )
Explore Iquitos, the biggest city in the world without having highway access.
Enjoy a savory breakfast at your hotel. Then, you will be escorted to the airport to take your flight back to Iquitos. At your arrival, your private guide will be waiting for you to bring you to the small city of Nauta, after 90 minutes aboard, you will arrive to this cozy city to embark the Delfin II Cruise – Luxury Delfin Cruise Line.
Once you get aboard, enjoy a brief briefing and settle down in one of the 14 luxury cabins. Then, delight yourself with a delicious welcome dinner with a glass of wine.

This morning, we recommend you to get up early! During this time, you can see a great wildlife variety and it is a rewarding experience. It is such a paradise this area of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve.
Keep an attentive eye to catch all the surprises along the way. If you travel during the dry season (Jun-Nov), it is possible to do some hiking at Belluda Caño, where you will have the chance to explore two different kinds of ecosystems: “flooded forest” and “terra firme” forest. This is home of some species such as blackbirds, snail kites, orioles, black-tailed ant birds, hummingbirds, manikins, tanagers, woodpeckers, nun birds, and pygmy marmosets. Next, your private guide will show you a pristine area where you can see fresh water fish, explore the calm waters in a dugout canoe.
If you travel during the wet season (Dec – May), explore Belluda Cano Creek by skiff. This is famous area because here you can find parrots, macaws and monkeys. It is also possible to see various species of hawks, Morpho butterflies, and including the noisy “laughing falcon,” named for its loud falsetto call.
Post lunch, we will visit the Dorado River (“golden river”), where you will have the chance to go fishing for the famous piranha, this captivating experience it is absolutely worth it! It is also possible to go swimming with the lovely pink river dolphins; it is believed can transform into beautiful humans. These animals are very friendly, and you can find them into the Amazon waters, very close to Iquitos, for this adventure be sure to bring you your bathing suit, a water proof camera is also recommended for a photo collection. After the dinner, your expert guide will bring you into a safari tour in search of alligators and nocturnal animals.

After a savory breakfast, enjoy a captivating and beautiful kayaking time along the water of Zapote River. Your expert guide will escort you upstream, along the way you will see lovely iguanas lying peacefully. During this excursion keep an attentive eye for whatever the jungle has to offer. Squirrel monkeys are very active at this time of the day, when they move in large noisy troops at mid to upper levels of primary and secondary lowland forest.
This afternoon, we will arrive to the heart of the Pacaya Samiria Reserve, this is considered the largest wetland reserve in the world. This protected area is filled of palms, lakes, lush vegetation, great wildlife variety, you can be sure that this is one of the most beautiful areas that will ever visit. It is also possible to swim in this crystalline Amazon waters.
Discovering the Amazon Treasures (B, L, D )

This morning after breakfast, board on Delfin’s aluminum skiff to explore Clavero Lake, where you will have a chance to get deeper into the rainforest and see a fantastic diversity of flora and fauna and local villagers paddling in their traditional dugout canoes.
In the afternoon, you’ll have the opportunity to test your own skills on the water. First, you’ll board the Delfin’s skiffs taking you to the Yarapa River, and then it’s into your very own kayak. Paddle through the tranquil waters, keeping an eye out for native flora and fauna at every turn! Next, you’ll visit the village of Puerto Miguel to meet local villagers who have called Amazonia their home for generations. Here, your naturalist guides will introduce you to village life in the jungle, and you’ll learn about native plants, local customs, and the seamless interaction between humans and wildlife.
Fall asleep for the last time under the Amazonian stars as the Delfins pulls you back towards Iquitos.
Exploring the Manatees Rescue Center & Flight to Lima (B)

Post breakfast, you will be escorted to the Nauta’s port. At your arrival, you will be transferred to Iquitos during 90 minutes aboard. Along the way, we will make an stop to visit the Rescue & Rehabilitation Center of River Mammals (ACOBIA), delight yourself meeting the lovely baby manatees and learn about these wonderful and docile creatures and why they are on the endangered species list.
Then, your guide will bring you to Iquitos airport to take your flight back to Lima. In Lima, you will be transferred to your hotel located in Miraflores to spend a peaceful afternoon rest.

This morning, pick up from your hotel to bring you to the airport, take your flight to the Andean Cusco City. After your arrival to the Cusco’s Airport, your private guide will pick you up to start your adventure in the Sacred Valley. Our first stop will be Awanacancha “Living Museum”, where you will learn about the weaving process and you will come face-to-face with the lovely South American camelids, including alpacas, guanacos, vicuñas… you can feed them too!
Your journey will take you to Pisaq traditional market, which is famous for its beautiful handicrafts that delight thousands of visitors every year. Textiles, vegetables, and silver jewelry are just some of the items that are sold here.
Then, delight yourself with a savory lunch featuring the most delicious Peruvian dishes.
Our next stop will be Pisaq ruins, we will explore some Incan archaeological sites, including ornate palaces and temples, and magnificent agricultural terraces on the mountains. This was one of the major agricultural centers of the Incan Empire and is one of the most beautiful towns of the Sacred Valley. From this point, you will see the modern-day Quechua people continue to farm and the verdant farmland where the Incas once cultivated their crops.
At the end of the tour, your guide will leave you in your hotel located in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas to spend a peaceful night rest.

This morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast your hotel. Then, your private guide and private transportation will pick you up to start your private tour.
You’ll be taken to see the impressive agricultural site of Moray. It is believed that this place was used as a kind of Incan laboratory to acclimatize crops. Then, we will drive to Maras ‘village – known for its beautiful colonial doorways – before arriving at the town’s still-in-use salt pans. During this visit you will find around 2000 small salt pans that are still used by local people for domestic purposes, then enjoy a savory lunch enjoying the beautiful Andean environment.
Post lunch you’ll have a chance to meet local villagers and visit to an off-the-beaten-track highland village on the shore of the icy blue Lake Piuray. Here, women are weavers’ masters and at this time their main activity is the agriculture. Once you get there, you will interact with the residents, visit their houses and fields, and you will also learn about their day-to-day life is like within the Andean highlands. You may also meet the lovely children; they love sharing their drawings with visitors.
Finally, transfer to your hotel in Cusco for a well-deserved good night’s rest.
Hike to Ollantaytambo (B, L)
Hike through lovely Andean Villages to Ollantaytambo archeological site.
This day, hike through the Sacred Valley of the Inca, your private guide will lead you to the breathtaking Patacancha Valley. At the ruins of Pumamarca we’ll begin our hike down a pre-Columbian trail, during the hike you will see some irrigation canals that are still used by local villagers today.
Along with your expert guide, you will enjoy two hours of easy hiking, then, we’ll find ourselves in the Incan town of Ollantaytambo, where the centuries-old influence of the Incas is still very much visible: water from the mountains trickles down to the Inca-built street canals, also, you will find the impressive trapezoidal doors and Inca walls.
Ascend beyond the stepped, slope-side terraces to the ruins of a centuries-old fortress above town, where the Incas secured an important victory over the Spanish conquistadors. Discover the mysterious hewn stone constructions, then your private guide will show you the quarries where the Incas sourced these huge stone blocks. From this point, you will enjoy the most beautiful views of the valley and the Urubamba River that meanders through it.
Then, enjoy a savory lunch, delight yourself with the delicious local flavors. Upon completion of this journey, we will bring you back to your hotel for an evening spent at leisure.
Inca Trail to Machu Picchu! (B, BL)

Prepare for a climatic day! The Short Inca Trail to Machu Picchu is considered as the most beautiful treks in the world and you’ll see why. Hike through different ecological areas, tropical rain forests, and the surroundings are seriously outstanding places. Of course, the Inca Trail saves its greatest reward for its unique archeological sites, culminating at the lost city of the Incas: Machu Picchu.
This morning, you will be transferred from your hotel to the starting point for your trail. Along the route, delight yourself with beautiful Inca sites, see a variety of flora and fauna and dip yourself in the impressive Andes mountains. Covering 16km of the trail our journey begins in the Sacred Valley and works it’s way up along an original Inca Trail to the Inca site of Winay Wayna.
Continue your hike to the Sun Gate (Inti Punku). From Sun Gate, stare out into the horizons and enjoy the breathtaking views of the mountains and Machu Picchu hidden between steep peaks below you. Once you get to this point, take a deep breath of relief as you have tread in the footsteps of the Incas and have conquered the iconic Inca Trail!
Descend to Machu Picchu and try to capture the best view, be sure to make a stop to appreciate the true beauty of this gorgeous place. Make your way to Aguas Calientes by bus and enjoy a peaceful night rest with the sound of the cloud forest around you.
Explore the Ancient Machu Picchu Citadel & Train to Cusco (B, L)
Dip yourself into the enigmatic Machu Picchu Citadel’s atmosphere
Prepare for a climatic day! This you will be transferred to the bus station to take your bus up to the Ancient City. Do not forget to charge your batteries! You will have many opportunities to take post-card views.
Feeling adventurous? If so, consider hiking the Huayna Picchu mountain, which offers unbeatable views over Machu Picchu. This morning, your private guide will show you mysterious and magic Machu Picchu Citadel by visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sundial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of Three Windows and some other cemeteries.
This afternoon, take the bus back to Aguas Calientes and board the return train to Ollantaytambo. We will be waiting for you at the train station and bring you to your hotel in Cusco for a well-deserved good night’s rest.

If you want to explore the iconic Cusco’s attractions, spend some time at the Plaza de Armas or Plaza Regocijos and try the Choco Museum, which will show you the history of cacao. This museum offers cultural and interesting classes about the chocolate process, it is ideal to spend time as a family, specially if you have young kids.
